Reports to: Head of HR. Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Open to conversation on hybrid, flexible and compressed working arrangements. Location: Easily commutable from London Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale Station. We offer a free minibus service to/from Harlow Town Train Station as well as free parking and EV charging on site.
About the role: In this fast‑paced role you will be the rewards lead for the Foundation, you will process payroll and benefits, ensure accuracy and compliance, manage reward partners and advise our colleagues on pay and rewards.
What you will be doing:
- Pay and Reward: Collate and submit monthly payroll information and liaise with the payroll supplier to ensure correct and timely payments are made. Produce information for internal and external audits. Provide management information (metrics) monthly, quarterly and annually. Support Gender Pay Gap reporting and activities. Manage the administration and renewal of all company benefits. Support the annual pay review cycle.
- Administration Management: Ensure payroll and benefit enquiries are dealt with and resolved efficiently. Ensure the HR section of Pulse and the website are kept up-to-date.
- Information and Service Delivery: Development of the HR systems and workflows to ensure they meet the HR Projects and Initiatives. Facilitate the delivery and implementation of HR initiatives across Motability to support the HR annual business plan. Manage the relationships with external suppliers and partners in respect of pay and reward. Proactively review benefits at Motability and identify opportunities and recommendations to enhance this provision.
Your experience:
- Experience in processing payroll in a role with substantial autonomy.
- A sound knowledge of pension schemes and reward systems.
- Experience providing advice and guidance on pay and reward issues.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret reports with strong attention to detail.
- A good team‑player with excellent communication and customer focus skills.
- Relevant payroll qualification (CIPP) or able to demonstrate knowledge gained by experience.
- Internal and external stakeholder management.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HMRC changes impacting pay and reward.
- High level IT skills, in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience of using HR databases.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, multitasking and scheduling regular reports.
- Ability to work alone to analyse problems and develop practical solutions.
