About the role: As a key member of the SCRUM team delivering the Eric Bana programme—our new enterprise Microsoft technology platform—you will take ownership of defined development work across Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power Platform, Power Pages, Power Apps, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic, business-critical components of our digital transformation. You will be responsible for developing production-ready features, supporting complex integrations, and contributing to our engineering standards, data modelling approach, and platform governance. This position is ideal for an ambitious early-career developer seeking accelerated growth in a modern, enterprise-grade Microsoft ecosystem.

What you will be doing:

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Development & Technical Ownership
  • Act as the primary developer for assigned CRM, Power Platform, or Fabric backlog items, delivering production-ready components.
  • Own and enhance specified Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM modules (entities, forms, business rules, plug-ins where appropriate).
  • Build and maintain robust Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) with a focus on performance, maintainability, and secure design.
  • Develop and support Power Pages including authentication, reusable components, and custom JavaScript where required.
  • Create reusable components, connectors, templates, and accelerators to support platform-wide standardisation.
  • Integration & Advanced Technical Work
    • Support integration work across Dataverse, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
    • Contribute to solution architecture discussions, including data flows, plug-in behaviour, and API usage.
    • Apply advanced Power Fx, JavaScript, C#, or KQL where required to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Data Engineering, Fabric & Reporting
    • Lead assigned data engineering tasks within Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows, Lakehouse modelling, and semantic model development.
    • Build enterprise-grade Power BI models and datasets that follow best practices in performance, governance, and data quality.
    • Perform structured data validation, optimisation, and monitoring across Fabric and CRM data sources.
  • Engineering, Quality & CI/CD
    • Contribute to and help maintain ALM processes, solution layering, environment strategy, and deployment pipelines.
    • Support CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform and Fabric using Azure DevOps and Git branching strategies.
    • Conduct unit tests, quality checks, peer reviews, and regression testing to ensure deliverables meet engineering standards.
    • Own documentation quality for assigned features, including technical designs, guidance, and release notes.
  • SCRUM Delivery & Cross-Team Engagement
    • Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
    • Support requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders, acting as a technical liaison.
    • Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and external partners (ANS) to shape best-practice approaches across the platform.
    • Contribute to governance, security, and data quality frameworks as part of the wider programme.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Capability Building
    • Produce knowledge articles, internal demos, and training materials to support the wider organisation.
    • Assist with onboarding and mentoring of future junior developers or apprentices.
    • Act as a Power Platform and Fabric champion, helping colleagues adopt best-practice development techniques.

    Your experience:

    Essential

    • Demonstrable experience delivering production-ready Power Apps or Power Automate flows.
    • Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM configuration or development.
    • Strong understanding of Dataverse, relational data modelling, and data transformation concepts.
    • Ability to write intermediate-level expressions or code using Power Fx, C#, JavaScript, SQL, or KQL.
    • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Factory, or Dataflows) with hands-on delivery experience.
    • Experience working with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps tooling.
    • Foundational understanding of ALM, solution layering, and working across multiple environments.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary SCRUM team and communicate technical concepts clearly.

    Desirable

    • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or API Management.
    • Knowledge of solution architecture patterns and integration best practices.
    • Experience with automated testing frameworks for Power Platform or data pipelines.
    • Prior involvement in platform governance, security, or data quality initiatives.
    • Exposure to enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
