Technical Lead – Full Stack Engineering

I am working on behalf of a high-growth UK FinTech that is redefining recurring commerce and digital payments. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-scaling product business as a Technical Lead, owning the delivery of real-world software that makes a tangible impact.
They are looking for a hands-on technical leader with strong full stack engineering skills who thrives in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment. As a Technical Lead, you will be at the heart of product delivery – driving forward scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
What you will do:
- Take ownership of features from concept through to production.
- Shape architecture and influence technical direction across the platform.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to deliver incremental value.
- Support and mentor other engineers to drive a culture of excellence.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience delivering complex software products in a senior or lead engineering role.
- Familiarity with PHP, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker/Kubernetes is a bonus.
- A strong focus on clean code, performance, testing, CI/CD, and agile principles.
- High level of autonomy and accountability – able to manage your own work and lead by example.
