Partner Manager – (Merchant Acquiring & Payment Processing)

London (Hybrid)


Do you thrive on building strong, strategic relationships? Are you confident managing partnerships that drive commercial growth? Do you have experience in merchant acquiring and payment processing and enjoy solving operational challenges?

We are undertaking a search for a Partner Manager to join a high-growth payments platform serving businesses across the UK and Europe. In this role, you will manage and grow relationships with strategic technology partners, ensuring seamless onboarding, integration, and long-term success.


You will:


  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships, leading joint account plans and quarterly business reviews
  • Oversee onboarding and go-live for partner-referred clients, ensuring technical and operational readiness
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Account Management, and Technical teams to deliver solutions that optimise payments
  • Drive adoption of the product suite across partner channels and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Analyse performance data, mitigate churn risks, and support contract renewals
  • Provide guidance on payment optimisation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations


We are looking for someone with:


  • Previous experience in operations, support, or implementation within payments.
  • Proven experience in managing strategic partnerships or B2B client operations
  • Experience working with merchants, PSPs, ISOs, or payment gateways with a good understanding of the end-to-end payment’s ecosystem
  • Technical aptitude, ideally with familiarity in APIs, data flows, and SaaS platforms
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of payment revenue models
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
