We are partnering with a global payments and financial technology company that is redefining how businesses move money across borders to help them find a MySQL DBA. This remote (UK) role sits on the operational side of the business within their Data Intelligence team and is pivotal in building and maintaining a centralised analytical data store.

You will design and optimise internal database structures, develop ETL processes, and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources. Working closely with analysts, you will ensure data quality, performance, and accessibility, enabling the business to leverage analytics effectively.

This role will suit someone with strong technical and interpersonal skills who enjoys collaboration and problem-solving. You will work alongside talented data professionals to architect and optimise systems, contributing directly to the company’s mission to build intelligent financial infrastructure.

What you will bring:

• Proven experience managing MySQL databases within analytical or production environments
• Strong data modelling, ETL, and performance optimisation expertise
• Experience integrating diverse data sources and supporting analytics or BI teams
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools
• A collaborative, communicative, and proactive mindset
