An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asset Manager to join a growing organisation on the South Coast.
The business is going through a period of significant growth, creating additional headroom to invest in its asset management capability. This is a newly available opportunity for someone who can bring strong asset management and information management expertise , alongside a good understanding of BIM and ISO 19650 .
The role will sit at the intersection of asset management, asset information, BIM and digital data , helping to ensure that asset information is accurate, structured and useful throughout the asset lifecycle.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and improving asset information, supporting asset lifecycle management and ensuring BIM and information management principles are embedded across relevant projects and operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing asset information throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Ensuring asset data is accurate, complete, structured and maintained to the required standards.
- Applying BIM and ISO 19650 principles to asset information management.
- Supporting the development and implementation of Asset Information Requirements (AIR).
- Working with project, design, construction, FM and operational teams to ensure information requirements are delivered.
- Managing and reviewing asset data and identifying gaps or inconsistencies.
- Supporting the transition of project information into operational asset management environments.
- Working with CAFM, IWMS or other asset management systems.
- Supporting BIM Execution Plans and information management processes.
- Working within Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Improving processes around asset data, information quality and digital asset management.
- Providing technical guidance to stakeholders on asset information and BIM requirements.
About You
We\'re looking for an experienced Asset Manager, Asset Information Manager or similar who understands both the operational requirements of asset management and the importance of good-quality information.
You\'ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in Asset Management or Asset Information Management .
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management .
- Practical experience of BIM and ISO 19650 .
- Experience managing and improving asset data and information.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary project and operational teams.
- Understanding of how design and construction information transitions into operational environments.
- Experience with CAFM, IWMS or other asset management systems .
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A structured, analytical and detail-focused approach.
Desirable: ISO 55001, AIR/EIR, BIM Execution Plans, CDEs, digital twins, BIM qualifications or experience within FM, property, construction, infrastructure or engineering.
Interim professionals with the right experience working inside IR35 may also be considered.
