I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation based in Salisbury that is looking to appoint a Junior Supply Chain Manager to strengthen its operational supply chain capability. This role sits at the heart of the business, supporting key operational contracts and helping to shape a supply chain that is efficient, commercially sound, sustainable, and performance-driven. It’s a genuinely hands-on role, ideal for someone with solid procurement or supply chain experience who’s ready to step up into a broader, more influential position.
The Role
As Junior Supply Chain Manager, you’ll work closely with technical specialists and internal stakeholders to manage supplier relationships, review performance, and ensure contractual and commercial obligations are met. You’ll be involved in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, analysing data, running reports, and driving continuous improvement across the supply base. You’ll be trusted to use your initiative, contribute ideas, and make decisions that have a real impact on delivery, while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and managing operational supply chain contracts
- Supplier management through formal frameworks, including KPIs and SLAs
