About the Company
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-driven Safety Compliance Coordinator to uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and regulatory compliance across our estate operations. This role requires a proactive professional who leads by example, ensuring statutory and internal safety requirements are consistently met or exceeded.
About the Role
As the appointed Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC), you will manage all temporary works linked to repair and maintenance activities, in line with current regulations and best practice. You will also act as the Responsible Person for Asbestos and Legionella compliance, overseeing inspections, testing, remedial works, and documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining compliance records such as vehicle safety inspections, PAT testing, ladder and scaffold inspections, and the technical training matrix.
- Ensuring training requirements are tracked and delivered on schedule.
- Conducting site inspections, supporting completion checks, and providing technical advice to operational teams and contractors.
- Supporting audits, inspections, and investigations while promoting a safety-first culture across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a safety or compliance-focused role, ideally within property management, housing, construction, or estates.
- Strong understanding of statutory responsibilities relating to Temporary Works, Asbestos, and Legionella.
- Confidence in managing compliance records and coordinating inspections.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) for registers and compliance data.
