We’re seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery across a complex facilities management and construction environment. This is a key role offering the opportunity to influence major projects while ensuring value, compliance, and strong financial performance.
The Role
- As a trusted commercial advisor, you’ll work closely with clients, operational teams, and supply chain partners to deliver effective contract management across core services and projects.
- You’ll provide cost advice, support pricing, and maintain strong financial control—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Manage commercial aspects of projects from inception to final account.
- Provide cost modelling, pricing support, and financial reporting.
- Oversee change management and contract variations.
- Monitor supply chain performance and manage supplier payments.
- Support risk management, governance, and compliance processes.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Contribute to sustainability and efficiency initiatives.
About You
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in construction, FM, or property maintenance.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in cost control and risk management.
- Experience delivering projects ranging from £1M–£20M and multiple smaller works.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience within MOD or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of collaborative frameworks (e.g. BS11000).
