Technical Assurance Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional with a strong technical background in M&E assets, facilities management or asset management consultancy to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our services.
About the Role
As Technical Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects and deliverables comply with Moston's Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.
Working closely with our surveying teams, project managers and clients, you will carry out technical audits, review asset data and drive continuous improvement across our quality processes.
This role is ideal for someone with an engineering background or extensive QA/QC experience who is passionate about technical excellence and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical quality audits in line with Moston's QA/QC policies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including SFG20 and CIBSE guidance.
- Review M&E asset data and technical documentation for accuracy, consistency and completeness.
- Provide technical guidance on asset lifecycle management and compliance.
- Identify risks, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Support the ongoing development and continuous improvement of QA/QC processes.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Produce detailed audit reports and maintain accurate quality assurance records.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation, industry standards and best practice within the facilities management and asset management sectors.
About You
- At least five years' experience in a QA/QC role focused on M&E assets, or a strong engineering background.
- Excellent knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical building services and associated assets.
- A thorough understanding of SFG20 maintenance standards and CIBSE guidance.
- Previous experience within facilities management, building services or an asset management consultancy.
- Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and asset management software.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
