About the Role

As Head of Commercial, you will be at the forefront of business transformation, collaborating closely with Operations and Commercial Directors. Your focus will be on:

  • Driving profitability and growth through innovative cost-saving and revenue-generating strategies.
  • Leading supplier partnerships, managing performance, and ensuring compliance across the business.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on commercial, legal, and procurement matters.
  • Strengthening risk management with frameworks covering financial, operational, and technical considerations.
  • Supporting sustainability goals by embedding greener practices and reducing environmental impact across operations.
  • Inspiring confidence with stakeholders at all levels, serving as a key commercial partner across the business.

What You’ll Need

We are looking for a commercially astute leader with a graduate-level background in law, surveying, or the built environment, ideally with chartered status. You will have:

  • Proven experience in commercial leadership, ideally in housing, property, or facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK contract and commercial law, with the ability to manage complex contracts and negotiations.
  • Exceptional financial acumen, with the ability to interpret data, model risks, and translate insights into action.
  • A track record of building trusted relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels.
