We're looking for an experienced, ambitious and driven Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the successful delivery of projects across the UK, working with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role
As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from initial planning through to successful completion. You'll coordinate resources, manage subcontracted asset surveyors across the UK, oversee budgets and programmes, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and successful delivery of multiple projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and resource allocations.
- Manage subcontracted asset surveyors across the UK, ensuring programme and quality targets are achieved.
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain project governance, risk registers and issue logs.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project communications and progress updates.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial tracking.
- Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings.
- Negotiate contractor and subcontractor rates while maintaining quality and value.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery.
- Produce regular project reports for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practice across projects.
About You
You'll be an organised and motivated Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex projects within fast-paced environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing and delivering complex projects.
- Strong experience managing budgets, forecasts, risks and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience managing subcontractors and geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent knowledge of project planning, governance and project controls.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience negotiating contractor agreements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Desirable
- Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business or a related discipline.
- PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent Project Management qualification.
- Commercial or contract management experience.
