Location: Berkshire

Salary: £70,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider for a Hard FM Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across a complex, compliance-led healthcare estate.

This is a key leadership position requiring a technically skilled professional who is confident managing M&E systems and building fabric, while ensuring compliance within a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance, leading a team of in-house engineers and specialist subcontractors, and meeting all contractual and statutory requirements.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of hard FM delivery, including mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance across the estate.
  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliance is met and maintained at all times.
  • Deliver reactive and planned maintenance to strict KPIs and performance standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders, client-side contacts, and contractors.
  • Manage contract variations, lifecycle projects, and budgetary control effectively.
  • Provide visible leadership to supervisors, tradespeople, and assistants, promoting a strong health and safety culture.
  • Maintain accurate records including asset registers, drawings, and compliance documentation.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Significant experience in a technical/FM management role, ideally within a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
  • A recognised qualification in Building Services or related field (HND or higher preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of compliance requirements (HTMs, statutory inspections, risk assessments).
  • Experience working within tight financial and contractual parameters, ideally within a PFI context.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
