Role: Head of Music/Deputy Faculty Leader (Performing Arts and Sport) - Mossley Hollins High School
We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music, ideally with expertise in brass band performance. The successful candidate will lead Music whilst also playing a key leadership role within the Performing Arts and Sport Faculty, supporting the drive for high standards in teaching, learning and student achievement. You will be an enthusiastic and credible leader who can inspire students and colleagues, promote excellence within Music, and contribute to the wider development of the faculty and school community. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A passion for Music and the ability to engage, challenge, and motivate students across KS3 and KS4.
- A strong track record of securing excellent progress and attainment outcomes in Music.
- The ability to lead and develop others, driving continuous improvement across the faculty.
- A commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
- Alignment with the school's values of Manners, Hard Work, and Honesty.
