We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our established team. Reporting to our Director of Neighbourhoods, our ASB Manager provides strategic and operational leadership to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused ASB services in line with Group policies, procedures, and the Neighbourhood Strategy, working collaboratively across the business to meet customer and community needs. The role leads and supports the Anti‑Social Behaviour Team, ensuring effective resource management, high performance, robust risk mitigation, and compliance with legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements while maintaining service excellence.
In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities, with a sound understanding of the tools and powers available to social landlords and wider partners to address and resolve ASB issues.
What does our ASB Manager do:
- Leadership & Service Delivery: Lead, manage, and motivate the Anti‑Social Behaviour Team to deliver a high‑quality, responsive case management service covering ASB, safeguarding, domestic abuse, and hate crime.
- Strategy, Policy & Performance: Develop and implement ASB policies and procedures, ensuring high performance, effective risk mitigation, and customer service excellence in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Partnerships & Collaboration: Build and strengthen strategic external partnerships, promote interagency working, and collaborate with internal teams to improve customer outcomes.
- Governance, Complaints & Compliance: Manage ASB‑related complaints, ensure compliance with statutory obligations (including GDPR and regulatory standards), and contribute to effective budget management and reporting.
- Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Oversee reporting, provide performance data and analysis to senior leaders, support IT system development, and embed excellence across neighbourhood management and leasehold homes.
What we are looking for:
- Level 4 in Chartered Institute of Housing / or willingness to work towards.
- Demonstrable experience of holding an ASB management post in the housing sector and delivering an effective ASB service.
- Experience of managing people effectively, leading organisational change and teams.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to produce, analyse and interrogate data to turn information into meaningful action to improve performance and outcomes for customers.
- Knowledge of health and safety in neighbourhoods.
- Full Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the northwest as required.
