At MSV Housing we’re committed to making sure our customers have good quality safe homes. We are looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Officer with good communication and organisational skills to join our established team. Reporting to a Neighbourhood Team Leader, our Neighbourhood Officers manage a patch of properties to deliver a customer focussed Neighbourhood service to our customers.
What will you be doing;
*
Building and maintaining good landlord / tenant relationships ensuring compliance of both tenants and landlord obligations.
*
Management of rent arrears, case management of high-level rent arrears and Court proceedings.
*
Case management of legal proceedings from preparation of court paperwork, ensuring compliance of pre-action protocols up to and including presenting the case in court as and when required.
*
Visits to customer’s homes, inspecting properties and addressing any tenancy-related issues and making appropriate referrals where necessary.
*
Completing regular inspections of our neighborhood’s and resolving any estate management issues
*
Working closely with our Anti-social Behaviour Team and partners to resolve issues that impact the community.
What we are looking for;

Knowledge of the full range of Neighbourhood Management Services
*
Experience of working in communities
*
Good Standard of education and skilled with Microsoft packages
*
Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work
*
Passionate to provide a high standard customer focused service
*
Level 5 Diploma in Housing from Chartered Institute of Housing would be desirable
