Purpose of the Role: As the Videographer & Editor, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content across ecommerce, social, and brand with strong technical control throughout both shooting and post-production. Alongside your core video responsibilities, you’ll support the in-house Photographer & Retoucher with day-to-day studio duties. This may include helping to manage workload during peak periods, so familiarity with stills or retouching is a bonus. You will have a solid understanding of ecommerce studio workflows and is comfortable working in a flexible, production-heavy studio environment. Working closely with our Producers, Art Director, and Brand team to capture compelling footage and deliver clean, creatively aligned edits that support our marketing, social, and ecommerce goals. This is a hands-on opportunity to help shape our video language, establish best practices, and be part of a growing internal content team.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality video for ecommerce, social media, and ad hoc needs such as store activations, brand events, or trips
- Collaborate with the Art Director to bring concepts to life
- Set up and operate all video equipment, including lighting, camera, and audio, both in studio and on location
- Sync sound, grade footage, and apply soundtracks, overlays, text, subtitles, and light motion graphics where required
- Ensure all video content is delivered on time and aligns with brand tone, visual standards, and technical specs
- Maintain shoot-to-edit organisation and versioning; support the Photographer in these areas when needed
- Collaborate with Producers to plan realistic timelines and post schedules
- Step in to support wider studio needs and ad hoc photography or retouch tasks as required
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in videography and editing, within a studio or ecommerce team
- Solid understanding of ecommerce studio workflows and production processes
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form brand or commercial video content
- After Effects (for light motion work)
- Audition and Media Encoder (preferred)
- DaVinci Resolve or similar (a plus)
- Confident handling cameras and equipment (Canon EOS R5 C or equivalent)
- Experience in stills photography or retouching (to support the inhouse Photographer during busy periods or high-volume projects)
