Purpose of the Role: The Senior Production Manager will oversee the smooth and efficient running of the shoot and studio function, ensuring all creative and campaign content is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. This role blends hands-on production management with project coordination and operational leadership. Acting as the operational anchor for the shoot team, the Senior Production Manager will ensure schedules are met, resources are in place, and processes are followed. They will be the main point of contact for campaign shoot logistics while maintaining and evolving the studio’s SOPs and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management
- Manage, coach, and develop the shoot team including the Shoot Producer, Videographer, and Studio Assistant.
- Support in onboarding future roles within the shoot function.
- Foster a positive, solutions-focused team culture that encourages collaboration and efficiency.
- Scheduling and Workflow Management
- Own and manage the production schedule across all shoots (campaign, eCommerce, social, still life, and video).
- Work in close partnership with the Marketing Manager/Campaigns Manager to map content requirements against available resources.
- Use Monday.com to manage timelines, track progress, and ensure visibility of all shoot deliverables across teams.
- Production Operations and Standards
- Work closely with the Creative Lead to ensure brand art direction and guidelines are followed during production.
- Maintain and update all SOPs and SOWs for freelancers and suppliers, ensuring processes are clear and efficient.
- Manage contracts, permits and any other production documentation required for shoots.
- Campaign Shoot Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all campaign shoot logistics, ensuring all production requirements are met and potential issues are resolved quickly.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external suppliers, and freelancers to deliver smooth shoot experiences.
- Ensure all crew, equipment, props, and locations are booked, confirmed, and prepared ahead of shoot days.
- Product Playbook Management
- Maintain and manage the Product Playbook to ensure shoot planning aligns with seasonal priorities.
- Work with Buying, Merch and Ecommerce teams to confirm the correct product is being shot at the correct time.
- Track any changes in product dates and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Creative Lead to align production schedules with creative priorities and seasonal campaigns.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Social, and Buying teams to align shoot planning with commercial objectives and key trading moments.
- Process and Efficiency Improvements
- Continuously refine production workflows to improve efficiency, communication, and output quality.
- Champion the effective use of Monday.com and ensure it is embedded as the central hub for shoot planning and progress tracking.

- Production processes are well-documented, up-to-date, and consistently followed by the team and freelancers.

- Campaign shoots are delivered with minimal issues and maximum efficiency.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Technical: 5+ years’ experience in production or studio management, ideally within fashion, retail, or creative industries.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end production workflows (campaign, eCommerce, social, still life, video).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent shoots, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, and delivery.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Monday.com or similar) to build schedules, track deliverables, and ensure visibility across teams.
- Solid understanding of creative direction and brand guidelines, with proven experience translating briefs into operational plans.
- Hands-on knowledge of shoot logistics: permits, contracts, suppliers, crew, equipment, props, and locations.
- Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, supplier costs, and freelance contracts.
- Familiarity with studio health & safety and compliance standards.
- Competence with MS Office/Google Suite; confident with production documentation and reporting.
