Purpose of the Role:
In the Digital Marketing Executive role, your main job is to support the traffic acquisition plans for the Ecommerce business, ensuring engaged visitors are brought to the site to deliver trading and commercial success. You will often collaborate with Buying, Merchandising and Design teams. Your tasks will include day-to-day management of paid search and paid social channels, assistance in running our affiliate channel and student discount partnerships and developing and optimising traffic and conversion rates across digital marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building a strong relationship with our performance marketing agency partner and developing and executing the performance search & social strategy and holding the agency to account for performance across KPIs.
- Work closely with our internal brand marketing team to identify opportunities to support the wider business with paid performance initiatives.
- Own brief to execution of new campaigns, imagery, and copy tests.
- Identify new opportunities to grow the paid channels, including and not limited to exploring new and relevant platforms to launch.
- Working closely with our affiliate network to build a successful partnership marketing program.
- Identify new opportunities and partnerships for the affiliate program.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with our publishers, keeping regular contact with key account managers.
- Ensure partners are updated on stock, promotions, marketing events, and seasonal trends to maximise performance.
- Providing weekly and monthly performance reporting for KPIs offering insight to the wider team and business.
- Actively looking for efficiencies across digital marketing channels to improve performance.
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager across all digital marketing channels.
- Keeping updated on the latest changes to analytics and advertising platforms.
What You\’ll Need to Succeed:
Technical:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in web analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics and social platform analytics.
- Experience with affiliate marketing and understanding market dynamics.
- Knowledge of social platforms and expertise in leveraging paid performance opportunities.
- Awareness of paid search advertising and using Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising platforms for reporting.
