Purpose of the Role:
In the Ecommerce Executive role, your main job is to assist in managing the daily operations of the website and support the Ecommerce team by analysing sales and category performance and assist with the setup of campaigns and promotions. Through having a data-led mindset, you will strive to enhance the customer experience. You will work closely with the Ecommerce Merchandiser and Trading & Optimisation Manager. Your tasks will include assisting with product setup and regular website housekeeping across our retail and Hire sites. You will strive to enhance the customer experience with analysis of key performance metrics to identify trends and areas for optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning and maintaining the upload of ecommerce product photography.
- Ensuring all elements of the Product Display Page (PDP) are accurately set up, including Mix & Match, colour Link, description, complete the Look, model information and photography.
- Assisting the Ecommerce Merchandiser with product categorization and on-site merchandising functions to enhance product visibility across the website.
- Supporting the Trading & Optimisation manager with trade planning and reporting.
- To own the briefing and upload process of site content for campaign launches and promotions in line with other channels and stores – this includes Retail, Hire and international sites.
- Collaborating with the Photography and Buying teams to ensure the availability of live product imagery before stock arrives.
- Attending weekly merchandising meetings to gain insights into product performance, deliveries and effectively communicate with the wider team.
- Collaborate with the Buying & Merchandising team to stay up to date on products.
- Assisting in delivering comprehensive weekly and monthly trade reporting for all relevant areas.
- Managing customer service product queries promptly and efficiently.
- Conducting thorough reviews of page and product performance utilizing tools such as Google Analytics and Content Square and sharing insights with the team and business.
- Supporting the Ecommerce Merchandiser in conducting regular site walks to identify any issues or opportunities for improvement.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of digital channels, technologies, and analytic techniques. Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT or similar) to support product content creation, including the ability to write effective prompts, refine outputs and apply human judgement to ensure accuracy and quality.

Excellent in verbal and written communication, prioritising clarity, and active listening to enhance teamwork. Able to manage your time effectively.
