We’re looking for an AI Automation Manager to drive automation across Moss and help teams unlock real business impact through AI. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll play a hands‑on role in identifying opportunities, collecting requirements, building workflows, and driving adoption of our automation tools. As the expert in Moss’s AI and automation stack, you’ll partner with teams across the business to ensure they use AI effectively and efficiently. This is an execution‑focused role where success is measured by the tangible business outcomes you deliver through automation.

Responsibilities

  • AI Platform Setup & Enablement
    • Lead the implementation and configuration of our AI orchestration platform (e.g., n8n or equivalent), in collaboration with Platform Engineering.
    • Define guardrails, monitoring standards, and escalation paths for AI‑powered workflows.
  • Business Partnering & Workflow Design
    • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, Risk, and other functions to identify high‑value automation opportunities.
    • Design, prototype, and co‑implement AI‑driven workflows—hands‑on with low‑code tools and prompts.
    • Build reusable templates and playbooks to accelerate future automation.
  • Performance Monitoring & ROI
    • Define and track adoption and ROI metrics (time saved, error rates, automation reliability, business impact).
    • Set up performance dashboards and feedback loops to continuously improve workflows.
  • Governance & Guidelines
    • Develop and communicate AI usage guidelines and guardrails, working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams.
    • Establish clear policies around human‑in‑the‑loop requirements and responsible AI use.
  • Adoption & Training
    • Lead AI enablement initiatives: training sessions, workshops, and “AI champion” communities.
    • Create internal content (guides, tutorials, showcases) to scale AI fluency across Moss.
    • Act as an internal evangelist for AI, ensuring adoption is broad and sustainable.

About You

  • Experience in business operations, process design, product management, or consulting.
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or B2B tech is a plus.
  • Technical fluency: Comfortable with low‑code/no‑code automation tools, APIs, and prompt design. You don’t need to be a software engineer, but you can build working automations.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in at least one of Finance, Operations, or Revenue functions.
  • Skilled in driving organizational change, adoption, and training programs.
  • Ability to treat internal automations like products—prioritizing, iterating, and measuring success.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Skills and Attributes

  • Adaptive Innovator: You experiment boldly with AI and automation, always seeking smarter, faster ways of working. You balance creativity with pragmatism — testing, learning, and refining solutions that drive measurable business value.
  • Systems Thinker: You see connections across teams, tools, and processes. You design workflows that scale by understanding both technical systems and human dynamics, ensuring automation fits seamlessly into how people work.
  • Trusted Partner: You collaborate with diverse stakeholders — from engineers to finance leaders — to identify needs and co‑create solutions. You build credibility through empathy, clarity, and an ability to translate complex concepts into actionable outcomes.
  • Data‑Driven Optimizer: You measure what matters and use insights to continuously improve. You track adoption, performance, and ROI, turning data into decisions that sharpen workflows and strengthen business impact.
  • Change Champion: You lead with curiosity and conviction, fostering confidence and excitement about AI across the company. You empower others through training and clear guidelines, ensuring AI adoption is responsible, inclusive, and lasting.
