Moss Technical Services are pleased to announce the vacancy for a qualified, experienced Electrician to join our growing, successful team. Moss Technical Services are a 25-year-old electrical installation company in the Electrical Installation, EV Charging, and Smart Home Industry, including Domestic and Commercial Intruder, Fire, CCTV and Access Control. We are also the UK distributor for Niko Home Control - market leader home automation manufacturer. The position is permanent full time, plus overtime as required.

Key Duties

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical works primarily in the Bridgend and the surrounding areas. Some works may be outside this area.
  • Liaise closely with clients and other members of our team on both planned and reactive installation and maintenance to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard at all times, requiring a particular attention to detail, to maintain our reputation.
  • Contribute to planning and decision making within the team.
  • Encourage high standards of housekeeping through effective workmanship and personal example.
  • Opportunity to become part of our Niko Home Control home automation support team.

Skills

  • Fully qualified electrician
  • 18th Edition + AM2 certification
  • Experience with single and three phase installations
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills (Enhanced DBS required due to the nature of our work)

Knowledge

  • Logical approach to fault finding and working processes.
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience.

General Info

  • Own hand tools required.
  • Although a majority of our work is local, there may be the requirement to work out of area for short periods of time. Accommodation and expenses will be paid.
  • Candidate will be required to have enhanced DBS checks carried out due to the nature of our work (paid for by the company).
