Moss Electrical are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our friendly and fast-paced team in Dartford. This is a dual-role position, splitting responsibilities between warehouse operations and multi-drop deliveries across London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable working in the warehouse and out on the road.
Role Overview
This position combines hands-on warehouse duties with professional delivery driving. You will support the smooth running of the warehouse while also ensuring timely and safe deliveries to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving Duties
- Safely operate a 3.5t delivery vehicle for multi-drop deliveries
- Deliver goods to sites in London and the Home Counties
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe handling of products (up to 30kg)
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry out daily vehicle checks
- Adhere strictly to road regulations and company driving policies
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Stock replenishment and goods-in processing
- Assisting with loading vehicles
- Maintaining a clean, organised warehouse
- Supporting general warehouse operations as required
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
- Over 21 years of age (insurance purposes – 3.5t vehicle)
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Good written and spoken English (for paperwork and customer interaction)
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 30kg
- Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Shifts between 8am – 5:30pm
- 42.5 hours per week
- 5% matched company pension
- FORS Silver accredited company
- Ongoing annual training (eLearning, Safe Driving, etc.)
