About this Role
Weoffer opportunities to teach classes from Key Stage 3 to A-leveland arecommitted to supporting staff to develop their skills to teach across all keystages. Whilst Geography will be their primary subject and we will always aimto utilise subject specialists within their main discipline, there should be an understanding that should our whole-school timetable require it, the successful candidate may be asked to deliver some lessons in other humanities subjects in Key Stage 3 and any training needs will be supported, as appropriate.

The successful applicant will be able to nurture, enthuse, engage,motivate and challenge students towards raising achievement at all levels, developinga confidence and love of their subject within the young people they teach. Theywill be committed to continually improving and developing their teaching andlearning practice when working alongside colleagues within a supportive departmentand school team. Together, they will role model high standards and expectationsand continue to improve outcomes within their subject to improve the life chancesof the young people in their care.

Holte School is an oversubscribed, diverse,multi-racial, 11-18 community school and is currently recognised as a 'NationalIQM Inclusion Champion' school.
