Greet Primary School isseeking to appoint an experienced, organised and highly professional AdministrativeAssistant to work in our bustling school office and play a key role in theday-to-day life of our large primary school in Sparkhill, Birmingham.
This is an excitingopportunity for a skilled administrator with previous experience of working ina school office and strong knowledge of MIS Systems (BromCom), which isessential for this role. We are looking for someone who thrives in a busyenvironment, communicates confidently with parents and staff, and can administeroffice systems with efficiency, warmth and professionalism.
As our Administrative Assistant,you will work closely with our Office Manager and alongside a range ofcolleagues across the school and Create Partnership Trust, helping to ensurethat our office operates smoothly and effectively in support of our pupils,families and staff. This is a highly visible, outward-facing role: you willoften be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and externalagencies, and will therefore play an important part in representing the schooland creating a welcoming, positive experience for all.
The successful candidate willalso take a key role in managing attendance, ensuring accurate systems,effective communication with families, and a proactive approach to supportinggood pupil attendance.

KeyResponsibilities:
- Workingas part of the office team as directed to include front of house and generaladministration.
- Beingflexible about personal duties and timetable in order to prioritise the needsof the school.
- Ensuringthe quality of administration support including use of word, excel, printingand maintaining accurate filing systems.
- Ensuringthat a welcoming and effective reception service is provided.
- Playa supporting role in the promotion and administration of pupils' attendance andunderstand broader expectations in relation to child safeguarding.

- Has experience of working in a school office.
- Has excellent working knowledge of BromCom orother MIS system.
- Is organised, efficient and able to managecompeting priorities in a busy environment.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
- Can work effectively with parents, pupils,staff and external partners.
- Understands the importance of attendance andcan support systems to monitor and improve it.
- Can work closely and collaboratively withcolleagues across the school and the Trust.
- Is professional, approachable and committedto providing a high-quality front-of-house service.
