Mosedale Gillatt Architects is looking for a Project Architect to join our team. We’re involved with delivering a variety of exciting projects across the country, from new build Passive House accredited commercial schemes to sensitive and high profile heritage sites. The company is employee owned, which means that we’re a close and friendly team, looking for the right individual to work within our central Newcastle office and to contribute to the care of clients and delivery of projects.
You should be committed and passionate about good design, with a minimum of 3 years post part 3 experience. You’ll be expected to have had site experience and be able to engage with clients, coordinate and organise teams of consultants and plan your work and that of others.
Key skills we are looking for:
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit software, SketchUp and Adobe, experience of BIM projects.
- Familiarity with NBS specifications.
- Ability to organise and plan project work, reporting to the directors and helping to manage resources.
- Good working knowledge of Building Regulations.
- Experience with site inspections and collaborative working to deliver high quality buildings.
- Knowledge and/or experience of contract administration would be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to sites, where needed.
- Tenacity around the pursuit of design intent at all times.
