Role Description
The Store Manager role at MOSCOT in Manchester is a full‑time, on‑site position responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring a premium customer experience. The Store Manager will lead and motivate the store team, manage staffing and scheduling, and maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards consistent with MOSCOT’s brand identity. This role includes monitoring sales performance, driving customer satisfaction, handling customer inquiries and service issues, and overseeing basic administrative tasks such as reporting, cash handling, and inventory checks. The Store Manager will also support retail loss prevention measures, uphold company policies, and collaborate with regional leadership to achieve sales and service goals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on delivering a welcoming, high‑quality in‑store experience.
- Strong Communication abilities, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Store Management, including team leadership, scheduling, daily operations, and sales oversight.
- Understanding of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to implement procedures that protect company assets.
- Previous retail or optical/eyewear experience preferred; fashion or luxury retail background is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Basic proficiency with point‑of‑sale systems and standard office software, along with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
