Mosaic Schools Learning Trust is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering strong financial management across our schools. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and compliance, ensuring best value and long-term financial sustainability for the Trust.

You will work closely with senior leaders, providing clear financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making, managing payroll and procurement, supporting audits, and developing efficient financial systems and processes. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to income generation and grant applications, and to mentor and support finance staff across the Trust.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in finance (ideally within education), excellent analytical and communication skills, and a proactive, professional approach. If you are organised, adaptable and passionate about supporting schools through effective financial management, we would love to hear from you.

About the Trust: Mosaic Schools Learning Trust is an inclusive and values‑driven Trust, committed to delivering the very best educational experience for every child, every day. Each of our schools is unique, bringing its own strengths and expertise to benefit the wider learning community, and we actively promote individuality within a culture of intentional collaboration.

Our work is underpinned by a strong moral purpose and our shared values of being respectful, resilient, and resourceful. We are passionate about diversity and recognise that everyone brings something unique to their role, regardless of any protected characteristics. We are committed to equality, fairness, and non‑discrimination across all recruitment and employment practices.

Safeguarding and Employment Checks: Mosaic Schools Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, along with other relevant pre‑employment checks, including an online search. References will be requested prior to interview for shortlisted candidates where possible and permitted.

The Trust reserves the right to close this vacancy earlier than advertised should sufficient applications be received; early applications are therefore encouraged.

What We Can Offer You: We recognise the importance of professional recognition, job satisfaction, and work-life balance, and we offer:

  • Genuine investment in professional development and future career progression
  • Opportunities to contribute to Trust‑wide initiatives within a forward‑thinking organisation
  • Peer‑to‑peer networking, collaboration, and challenge in a supportive environment
  • Supportive and engaged Governors and Trustees
  • Engaged parents and proactive PTAs
  • A comprehensive staff reward and wellbeing package
