Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, successful business based in Harlow who are looking to add a Customer Service Advisor to their busy and friendly office team. This is not a quiet call-centre role; they are looking for outgoing, switched-on, vibrant individuals who enjoy working at pace and being part of a lively, collaborative office. You will need confidence, ambition, energy and the ability to think on your feet. You will be working from modern, lovely state of the art offices with free parking, supporting customers via phone and email and playing a key part in maintaining a high standard of customer experience as the business continues to grow.
The Role
As Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling queries professionally and efficiently. You will need to be confident speaking to people, able to write clear and well-structured emails, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a very fast-moving environment. This is a great role for someone who genuinely enjoys customer interaction, takes pride in their communication, and wants to be part of a hard-working but supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email (Zendesk)
- Providing clear, friendly and professional responses to customer queries
- Writing accurate, well-worded emails - strong written communication is essential
- Investigating issues, identifying root causes and offering effective solutions
- Working closely with internal teams to resolve queries quickly and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions
- Learning product information and company processes to support customers confidently
- Contributing positively to a busy, energetic office environment
About You
- Previous experience in a customer service or office-based role is desirable
- D2C experience would be beneficial
- Confident communicator with a strong telephone manner
- Able to write clear, professional and well-structured emails
- Outgoing, energetic and comfortable in a busy office setting
- Hard-working, proactive and able to use initiative
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple tasks
- A team player who enjoys being part of a collaborative environment
