Internal Account Manager - Based in Waltham Abbey, Essex EN9
Hours: 8-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8-4pm Fridays - 1 hour lunch
Holiday: 23 days holiday plus Bank holidays
Salary: £31,000-£35,000 Plus OTE (capped)
Our client is a UK market leader in its industry. The successful candidate will be supporting the UK Field based sales Managers and will take ownership of direct management accounts. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to ensure the client is a supplier of choice.
Ideal candidate will have 3-4 years experience in a similar commercial sales supporting role. Upselling, cross selling but no cold calling involved. Working in a team of 5 reporting to the sales manager.
- Work with internal and external sales colleagues to drive customer growth and ensure continued development of new business pipeline.
- Manage customer pricing to deliver increased margins.
- Provide internal sales support on administration, quotes, service and quality issues.
- Ensure orders are accurately captured and entry onto the CRM system to deliver daily service promise.
- Excel KPI targets given will reward a bonus based on performance.
- Take ownership of approx. 200+ existing Accounts.
- Adhoc duties that may arise from the sales Manager.
Essential:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Needs to be organised, motivated and energetic.
- Commercial experience within B2B Trading environment.
- Strong track record of delivery of commercial targets.
- Effective time management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be able to work in a team.
- Competent on Microsoft Word and Excel.
