We are seeking a highly analytical finance professional to join a growing international finance team. This position sits at the intersection of financial reporting, data analytics, systems improvement and ad‑hoc M&A support. If you are a self‑starter, with excellent attention to detail and do not require being minute managed then this is the role for you. A flexible hybrid pattern accompanies this role.

This is not a traditional budgeting and forecasting role. Instead, the successful candidate will play a key role in consolidated reporting, financial analysis, transaction review, process automation and supporting acquisition activity across a global business.

The ideal candidate will be naturally curious, highly detail‑oriented and comfortable working with large volumes of financial data. They will be able to challenge outputs, identify inconsistencies, reconcile information from multiple sources and draw meaningful conclusions from financial trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support quarterly consolidated financial reporting activities and analysis.
  • Analyse financial performance and identify key trends, variances and anomalies across multiple entities.
  • Extract, validate and interrogate financial data from ERP and reporting systems.
  • Reconcile information from multiple data sources and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Review transactional data and investigate inconsistencies before information is presented to stakeholders.
  • Support occasional M&A activities through financial due diligence, validation of seller projections and acquisition analysis.
  • Assist with integration reporting and post‑acquisition financial analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, projections and scenario analysis.
  • Partner with finance teams globally to improve reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve automation.
  • Utilise Excel, SQL and reporting tools to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Support the continued development of finance systems, reporting capabilities and AI‑enabled process improvements.
About You
  • Experience within Financial Analysis, FP&A, Group Reporting, Finance Analytics or Corporate Finance.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to validate outputs rather than simply produce reports.
  • Experience working with large datasets and financial reporting processes.
  • Exposure to M&A, due diligence or acquisition analysis is essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills including complex modelling, macros and VBA.
  • SQL experience highly desirable.
  • Experience working with consolidation and reporting systems is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify trends within financial data.
  • Comfortable operating in international and fast‑paced environments.
