The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed School Facilities/Site Manager to work within an Estates team. The successful candidate will be based in Cheshunt and will work flexibly at other local locations. Hours of work are 8.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday – Thursday and Friday 8.00 am – 3.30 pm with some flexibility to work outside of these hours. There is also an excellent range of benefits.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience of working in facilities management, ideally in education or leisure
  • A knowledge of Health and Safety practices
  • Have a commitment to working with young people in a school environment
  • Be practical and have good general DIY skills, plus an ability to develop these skills
  • Be a proficient user of Technology including Excel
  • Have high levels of physical fitness, this is required for some of the hands-on duties required. There will be occasions that you may be required to work at height
  • Offer flexibility to work additional hours/days if required
  • High levels of energy and resilience
  • Be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Plan, organise and schedule work as well as managing departmental rotas
  • Strive for excellence and be committed to continual improvement
  • Review and improve site security
  • Manage site utilities and contribute to ideas for energy saving initiatives
  • Supervise site cleaning
  • The ability to work both independently as part of a close-knit team
  • Be confident resolving problems and offering solutions
