Dispatch & Warehouse OperativeOverview:£12.50 per hour to be reviewed after probation periodSupporting all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations.Responsibilities:
- Safely handle goods and ensure accurate placement of stock in the correct locations.
- Pick and pack products accurately in accordance with received orders, ensuring no damage occurs.
- Operate mechanical handling equipment such as pallet trucks and mobile lifting trolleys.
- Use PDA scanners and courier dispatch systems to process outgoing deliveries.
- Assist company vehicles and external couriers with loading.
- Carry out any additional warehouse duties as required by supervisors, colleagues, or management to meet customer and company needs.
Preferred (but not essential) Skills & Experience:
- Experience with manual handling in a warehouse environment.
- IT literate — comfortable using PCs and PDA scanners for picking, packing, and dispatching goods via courier systems.
- Familiarity with courier services (e.g., DPD, DX Delivery, UPS, DHL).
- Experience working effectively within small team
- Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00–16:30 (1-hour lunch)
- Friday: 08:00–16:00 (30-minute lunch)
Location:Warehouse based in Harlow, Essex Dress Code:
- Own safety boots required.
- All other PPE provided by the company.
