Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a small but growing company within the construction industry.
This is a flexible, long-term opportunity for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping and keep the company's accounts accurate and up to date using
Xero .
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day bookkeeping using
Xero .
- Process purchase and sales invoices.
- Record and allocate incoming and outgoing payments.
- Complete bank and supplier reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier accounts.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with credit control.
- Process expenses and receipts.
- Prepare information for month-end.
- Liaise with external accountants when required.
- Resolve account queries and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
About You We are looking for someone with
- Previous bookkeeping/accounts experience.
Good practical working knowledge of Xero.
- Experience with purchase and sales ledgers.
- Bank and supplier reconciliation experience.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership.
- A reliable, flexible and proactive approach.
Experience within construction, trades or a small business environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Hours Approximately one day per week , with flexibility around the day and hours worked.
Due to the rural location , applicants must be a car owner/driver with their own reliable transport.
