We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded Account Manager to join a growing business on a is is a key client B2B role, responsible for building strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and working closely with internal operational teams to resolve issues, identify opportunities and retain business.
The role
- Manage and develop a portfolio of business customers.
- Act as a trusted day-to-day contact, ensuring clients receive a responsive, high-quality service.
- Build a strong understanding of each customer’s requirements, priorities and service expectations.
- Work closely with Operations, Logistics, Sales and wider internal teams to coordinate service delivery and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor account performance, customer activity and service levels, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support renewals, retention activity and opportunities to grow existing customer relationships.
- Handle customer queries, escalations and complaints professionally, keeping stakeholders informed throughout.
- Maintain accurate account records, notes and reporting using internal systems.
- Contribute ideas to improve customer experience, processes and commercial performance.
About you
You will be an experienced Account Manager, Customer Success Manager or Client Relationship Manager, ideally from a B2B, service-led, logistics, utilities, facilities, transport or operational environment.
You will be confident managing multiple priorities, communicating with a range of stakeholders and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
Commercially aware and naturally relationship-focused, you will enjoy combining excellent customer service with a practical, results-driven approach.
