Situated in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, The Button Factory has restored and extended one of the quarter’s traditional buildings. The venue hosts a spacious 40 seater restaurant, 2 bars, a garden terrace and outside courtyard which can hold up to 350 people. From Sunday Roasts, BBQ dinners, Wedding Receptions to evening drinks, the Button Factory has something for everyone.
As a Chef de Partie you have a responsibility within the operation and key to the success of the business and thus must always carry yourself in a professional manner. Your tasks will include (but are not necessarily limited to):
- Running your allocated area of the kitchen to the highest standard
- Supporting the head chef and sous chef in their daily tasks
- Be involved with the production and service of all food leaving the kitchen skill level permitting.
- Ensuring that the kitchen is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, accepting, and organizing deliveries.
- Adhering to all health and safety and food safety practices, with particular attention to allergens.
- Be a positive member of the team and communicate well with others around you.
