The job role
This role will largely encompass delivering pro-active sales against the sales strategy, with a view to increasing organic pre-booked revenue.
The Role is a multi site role across our 5 midlands estate- with 4 premium pubs as well as a boutique hotel

Place of work
The role will largely be field based, otherwise using any of the 5 venues as your base.
Working days are Monday-Friday, covering flexible hours of 10-8pm (events & meetings dependant).
Scope and general purpose
The role includes the delivery of sales strategy to consistently grow pre-booked business through proactive sales.
You will be liaising with the Sales Team, Ops & General Managers to ensure we are accurately and actively attending the best events and listed on the correct routes to market.
Your key role is the growth of proactive sales to best support the business in organically growing pre-booked sales and consistently hitting agreed financial targets and budgets.
This role largely focuses on driving sales proactively through consistent and effective outreach, key account management, partnerships and relationship building to drive new and frequent bookings and events.
This will include but is not limited to; past booking / enquiry outreach, third party and agent management, exhibitions and networking events.
During peak times of the year, you may be required to assist the Sales Team, with the high volume of enquiries and to also set a standard for consistentency & process within reactive & pro-active sales.
You will work alongside the Sales Team, to ensure smooth delivery of all strategic sales plans.
As well as advising & working with the Ops Team, with regards to achieving targets & KPI’s.

The role requires you to be self-motivated, a fantastic & proven planner, good communicator with the ability to multi-task and you must have great attention to detail.
You will be confident, flexible and agile in order to pivot the pre-booked area of the business when necessary and at short notice.
Responsibilities
The role will be a diverse one and will vary according to a pre-determined Sales Stategy, however a broad overview is listed (but not limited to) the below:
- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Identifying new business opportunities through networking, market analysis, industry events, and proactive prospecting.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into frequent clients.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event planners, third parties and key accounts.
- Conduct regular client meetings and networking activities.
- Manage contract renewals and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Market Research and Analysis
To be innovative and proactive at creating and implementing new ways of growing and maximising pre-booked sales and imbed them within the team.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity.
- Identify new opportunities for listings, networking, partnership, sales and potential target markets.
- Recommend pricing and promotional strategies based on market research.
- Strategic Partnerships
- Develop partnerships with local businesses, sporting organisations, and key industries.
- Establish referral networks to generate new business.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on joint promotions and campaigns, to support your proactive strategy and partnerships.
- Corporate and Group Business Development
- Driving brand awareness and maintaining strong visibility within the Birmingham hospitality market.
- Secure corporate accounts, conference bookings, weddings, and group travel business.
- Prepare proposals & presentations both externally and internally.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, networking and industry events to promote the business.
- Account Management
- Manage key accounts and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain accurate client records and sales pipelines within booking system.
- Forecast future revenue from existing and prospective clients.
- Focus on growth of revenue and bookings through key account management with regular meetings and familiarisation trips.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams
To act in accordance with the agreed company project work tasks and timelines agreed with Ops team.
- Work closely with operations, sales, marketing, and finance teams.
- Ensure smooth handover of events to venue teams during the sales process.
- Provide feedback from clients to support continuous improvement for sales and events.
Review & present ideas to ensure the business has it’s fingers on the pulse against compeitors, including but not limited to; pricing, packages, website, enquiry management etc.
To ensure a constant, consistent, and clear level of communication is always upheld both internally and externally.
To actively contribute to the Mosaic culture, including sales ideas and activity creation.
- Reporting and Performance Monitoring
- Tracking KPIs such as revenue growth, third party & extrenal event ROI, event sales, and client acquisition & retention.
- Produce regular weekly pipeline reports.
- Produce monthly sales and activity reports.
- Produce quarterly third party & external events reports.
