We are searching for the best education professionals. Thank you for your interest in the post of Director of People for the Mosaic Partnership Trust. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join the Trust at an exciting time in our journey and development as an organisation.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity of:
- working as a key member of the MAT Central Team, contributing to the development of strategic and operational plans for the organisation with an HR portfolio
- providing strong and effective leadership in HR and payroll policies ensuring HR compliance and efficiency
- leading on and developing the Trust People Framework in conjunction with the executive team
- working with a great team of Headteachers and Senior Leaders in a supportive and advisory capacity
The main objectives of the role are:
- To be responsible for the strategic development of all aspects of Human Resources across the Trust, ensuring alignment of policies, procedures and HR administration
- To coordinate the work of centrally based HR, any local HR administration and liaise effectively with our external HR, payroll, OH and pensions providers
- To secure a coordinated and effective HR support function to all schools within the Trust and the central services team
- To report effectively to the CEO and Trustees, providing strategic oversight of all matters in relation to HR and assurance on HR practice
The successful applicant will have the following relevant experience:
- significant senior HR experience, including a proven track record in an HR role
- an excellent understanding of the education sector
- extensive experience of developing effective HR systems, policies and procedures
- leading on the reporting of workforce based data and providing strategic analysis for different audiences
- experience of working positively and negotiating effectively with the trade unions and professional associations
The successful applicant will also have the following qualities:
- excellent communication skills
- be pro-active with lots of initiative
- be authentic as a person and a role model for the Trust
The role operates at a FTE of 0.747, with approximate 0.8 of the working week during term time and 0.6 of the working week during non-term time periods which aligns with the workflow of the job role.
