Job Spec

Mosaic is looking for an experienced underwriter to join our Professional Liability team in London. This is a rare opportunity to take a meaningful role in a market-leading team and further develop your career. There are two roles available:

  • AVP: four or more years’ experience in a combination of relevant roles, to include professional liability
  • VP: eight or more years’ experience in a combination of relevant roles, to include professional liability

Responsibilities

  • Execute the underwriting strategy across our diverse professional liability portfolio
  • Analyse risk, set pricing and conduct policy reviews
  • Negotiate with brokers on new and renewal business
  • Develop business globally across both US and international markets
  • Identify new distribution channels, products and relationships
  • Underwrite in line with the business plan and underwriting guidelines
  • Travel to engage with intermediaries and clients
