Mosaic is looking for a junior underwriter to work within our cyber team in London. This is a rare opportunity to take a meaningful role in a market-leading team and further develop your career.
Responsibilities- Support and learn analysis of risk, price setting, and policy review for international cyber and tech E&O risks
- Set portfolio strategy for all cyber and technology E&O business written by London unit, including engagement in business-planning process
- Work with all regions to develop business, including identifying new distribution, products and relationships, including global distribution strategy oversight
- Help build and grow our reinsurance and SCM relationships. Build and manage relationships domestically and internationally, including brokers and cover-holders
- Lead ad hoc strategic projects
- Represent Mosaic in client meetings
- Underwrite international and US cyber and technology E&O business
- Negotiate with brokers on new and renewal business
- Ideally one to three years’ experience in a combination of relevant roles, preferably including cyber underwriting or broking
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly focused, enthusiastic, and creative thinker
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to negotiate with sophisticated advisors and clients
- Ability to be proactive, work independently, and make decisions
- General knowledge of and ability to comprehend cyber insurance products
- Competency in policy drafting
