Môrwell Talent Solutions is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established 3rd sector organisation located on the outskirts of Pontypridd. Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their team on a potential temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in sales ledger / purchase ledger who is looking to build a broader finance skill set in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the sales ledger: raising invoices, allocating payments, and resolving queries
- Assisting with purchase ledger duties: processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements and preparing payment runs
- Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company procedures
- Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as required
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
- Knowledge of sales ledger processes and basic exposure to purchase ledger
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- High level data entry skills
- Confident communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and MS Excel
- Early stages AAT studier
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
