We\’re working with a South Wales-based market leader. With continued investment, innovative new sites, and a dynamic finance team, they\’re on the lookout for a proactive, curious, and career-minded AP & Treasury Manager to join them on their exciting journey.
For this role, they require attitude over experience. If you\’re hungry to learn and grow, they\’re ready to back you all the way (including financial support for AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or ACA studies).
The Role
This is a hands-on role where you\’ll manage all things Accounts Payable and Treasury, from payment runs and cash forecasting, to improving systems and mentoring two AP Assistants. You\’ll be trusted to take ownership, improve processes, and collaborate across the wider business.
You\’ll be based three days a week in Swansea and two days in Llantrisant, working with leaders who are at the top of their game and keen to bring out the best in you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full AP process, ensuring timely, accurate payments and reconciliations
- Manage cash flow, daily bank recs, forecasting, and treasury activities
- Lead and support two AP Assistants
- Oversee VAT and Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) submissions
- Drive improvements – including automation of invoice and payment processes
- Contribute to month-end close, audits, and wider finance initiatives
- Play a key role in ongoing finance transformation projects
What They\’re Looking For
- Someone with experience in a similar AP/treasury role/cashbook
- Ideally from a manufacturing or FMCG background (not essential)
- Strong systems understanding ERP and Intermediate Excel skills
- A team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Someone who\’s studying or wants to study and grow into a broader finance career
