Reporting to the Financial Controller, they are seeking a personable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Accounts Administrator to support their busy finance team. They are looking for someone eager to learn, who is happy to assist with a variety of tasks, no matter how big or small.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Scanning and processing high volume of purchase ledger invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Handling supplier queries
  • Data entry onto their bespoke accounting software
  • Posting and allocating payments
  • Assisting with daily bank reconciliations
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc finance administration tasks
  • Preparing basic reports for management
  • Filing invoices and financial documents
  • Maintaining financial records and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel work)
  • Assisting the Credit Controller with raising sales invoices
  • Assisting with customer account queries

Our client is ideally looking for someone with some previous experience in a similar role. However, the key requirement is a strong desire to learn and grow within the organisation. Confidence in using Microsoft Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, is essential.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to build a career in the accountancy profession. Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (with a 30-minute lunch break).
