Utilities Operatives required in Truro, Cornwall – Daily travel required. Hourly rate dependent on PAYE/Umbrella and length of contract required. Company vehicle provided to commute from job to job (collected daily from outskirts of Truro).
Morva Recruitment are working with a well-established utilities contractor seeking experienced Utilities Operatives to join established gangs across Cornwall. This is a hands-on role working on roadside utilities projects, including excavation, ducting and reinstatement. You will be working in gangs of 3–4 depending on the project.
The Role:
- Roadside utilities and civils works
- Excavation, duct installation and reinstatement
- Working safely in live environments
- Representing the business professionally on site
- Daily travel to the outskirts of Truro to collect the work vehicle
Requirements:
- Proven utilities experience (essential)
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- CSCS and/or CPCS preferred (not essential)
- Streetworks/NRSWA advantageous
Rates will vary depending on whether you are PAYE or Umbrella, as well as the longevity of work you are seeking. Ongoing work available for the right candidates.
