About the Company: We are working with a well-established and highly respected groundworks contractor specializing in the residential sector. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across the South West, we are looking for a dedicated Site Manager to join our team.

The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing groundworks packages on residential housing sites. You will manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring all work is completed to client specifications, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site teams, sub-contractors, plant, and material deliveries.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain daily site records and progress reports.
  • Liaise with client site teams and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred).
  • Experience: Proven background specifically in Residential Groundworks.
  • Location: Ability to travel to sites across Devon, Somerset, and Dorset.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, technical knowledge of groundworks, and excellent communication skills.
