A growing specialist marine contractor is seeking a proactive Project / Site Engineer to support the delivery of marine civil engineering projects across the UK and overseas. This is a varied role combining site-based project delivery with office-based engineering support, including tenders, documentation and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support preparation of tenders, engineering schedules and bid documentation
- Assist with delivery of marine projects from award to completion
- Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Represent the company with clients, contractors and subcontractors
- Support vessel operations and marine installations
- Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and to a high standard
- Assist with project documentation and methodology drawings using AutoCAD 2D
Requirements:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Marine or Civil Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience in a relevant engineering environment
- Experience within marine, offshore, heavy civils or similar sectors
- Ability to operate AutoCAD 2D (basic knowledge required to read, amend project drawings and prepare methodology sequence drawings)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commercial awareness
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in Cornwall or willing to relocate
- Flexible to work away across the UK when required
