A growing specialist marine contractor is seeking a proactive Project / Site Engineer to support the delivery of marine civil engineering projects across the UK and overseas. This is a varied role combining site-based project delivery with office-based engineering support, including tenders, documentation and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support preparation of tenders, engineering schedules and bid documentation
  • Assist with delivery of marine projects from award to completion
  • Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Represent the company with clients, contractors and subcontractors
  • Support vessel operations and marine installations
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and to a high standard
  • Assist with project documentation and methodology drawings using AutoCAD 2D

Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Marine or Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience in a relevant engineering environment
  • Experience within marine, offshore, heavy civils or similar sectors
  • Ability to operate AutoCAD 2D (basic knowledge required to read, amend project drawings and prepare methodology sequence drawings)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based in Cornwall or willing to relocate
  • Flexible to work away across the UK when required
