Morva Recruitment are working with a dynamic and growing building services consultancy who are looking to add talented Electrical Design Engineers at various levels (Design Engineer, Senior, and Associate) to their expanding team. With a diverse portfolio of projects secured across sectors including healthcare, nuclear, rail, industrial, commercial and residential – and an impressive pipeline extending well into 2026 – this is an exciting time to join. This role is ideal for candidates with real-world electrical building services experience, whether from a design background or having worked their way up through trades or management roles. If you have the knowledge of risk management, regulations, quality, and client delivery, our client can help develop and strengthen your design expertise further. Key Responsibilities * Producing and developing detailed electrical building services designs, drawings, and specifications * Carrying out design calculations using industry-standard software and by hand where required * Preparing technical reports, presentations, and tender documentation * Ensuring compliance with UK regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and British Standards * Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver coordinated solutions * Supporting other engineers and mentoring junior staff where appropriate What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in electrical building services design OR strong trade/management background with knowledge of electrical systems * Experience with LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, data, and related systems * Strong understanding of UK regulations and standards * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications * Excellent attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills * Must be able to work from the office full time (with hybrid and flexible working provided) * No sponsorship available – applicants must have the right to work in the UK What’s on Offer * Competitive salary, bonuses, and benefits package – salary banding depending on level of experience * Annual bonus every January * Two additional wellbeing days per year * Opportunity to work on a wide variety of exciting projects * Hybrid and flexible working arrangements * Ongoing training and career development opportunities * Clear progression pathway from Engineer through to Associate * Be part of a supportive, passionate, and growing business To apply, please send your CV to Morva Recruitment
