Morva Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading Cornwall-based manufacturing business in the appointment of an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant programme of facilities and premises investment across multiple UK sites. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile programme that includes the relocation of manufacturing operations, expansion of existing facilities, and the enhancement of office, warehouse and production environments.

Working closely with senior leadership, operational teams, contractors and external stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to ongoing business operations.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple facilities and infrastructure projects, from initial planning and stakeholder engagement through to completion and handover. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the delivery of manufacturing facility, premises and infrastructure projects across multiple UK locations
  • Managing project scope, budgets, schedules and risk throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinating contractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Driving health, safety and environmental compliance across all projects
  • Managing planning applications, approvals and statutory requirements where required
  • Preparing and managing CAPEX budgets, forecasts and reporting
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, performance metrics and stakeholder communications
  • Ensuring manufacturing operations and customer commitments are protected throughout project delivery
  • Building strong relationships with operational, engineering and leadership teams to ensure project success

About You

We’re keen to speak with experienced project professionals who have delivered facilities, premises, construction or infrastructure projects within manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments. You will ideally have:

  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction, Facilities Management or a related discipline
  • Proven experience delivering facilities, relocation, infrastructure or capital investment projects
  • Strong contractor and supplier management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation including CDM regulations
  • Experience managing project budgets, programmes and risk
  • Construction contract management experience
  • A recognised project management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent
  • NEBOSH, IOSH or similar health & safety qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
