We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Hire, Parts and Service (HPS) Manager to take ownership of our growing installed asset support division. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee a team of Project Engineers, site staff, and a Sales Administrator, ensuring seamless aftersales service, driving hire growth, and improving customer satisfaction across the UK.
Lead a high-performing team and shape the future of service delivery for cutting-edge environmental technologies. Our installed assets include screens, flushing gates, aeration systems, and filtration systems, and you will play a crucial role in keeping them running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a multi-functional service and hire team
- Oversee Health & Safety, including RAMS reviews and team training
- Develop and deliver proactive service and maintenance plans
- Secure service and support orders for new and existing assets
- Manage framework contracts across both EH and third-party technologies
- Drive the hire of filtration system packages and manage fleet growth
- Create business cases for investment to support team expansion, reduce travel costs, and increase fleet size
- Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to feed back on product performance
- Partner with Marketing to enhance brand visibility and customer trust
- Take full ownership of P&L performance for the HPS division
- Set pricing strategies with Area Managers and influence cost structures
- Proven leadership experience in a technical service, operations, or asset management environment
- Strong commercial awareness, including P&L responsibility
- Background in water treatment, engineering, or environmental technologies is highly advantageous
- Experience with framework contracts and equipment hire is desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive mindset and ability to drive change
