Morning Cleaner

Mortonhall Golf Club is currently seeking a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to cleanliness, to join our team. Approximately 10 hours over 3 days per week, including Saturday. Working start time 07.00am. Job Summary As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the golf club. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for both employees and customers. Responsibilities – Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming – Clean and sanitise locker rooms, clubhouse bar and lounge, and other common areas – Empty trash receptacles and replace liners – Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors – Restock supplies as needed – Laundry (towels) – Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols. Adhere to safety guidelines Qualifications – Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required – Ability to work independently and efficiently with good time management – Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks – Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients – Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects if required • Staff discounts • Free on-site parking Please note that only qualified candidates will be contacted for further consideration
